MARVEL MLLE

Brief:

Disney, Marvel and the AAA (professional mexican wrestling association) teamed up and needed some props fo their live events.

Two props were comissioned: Underworld Godess" Helmet and the MLLE Champinship Belt.

Design Process

For the helmet we 3D scanned Shani, the wrestler so we could use teh scan data as a virtual sculpt reference. From there, we did our own take on the helmet using design cues from the MARVEL films.

The belt is inspired in Iron Mans tech so we decided to ad rigid plates and interlocking hinges. It was completely modelled in CAD to ensure eveything would fit together. The belt itself is laser cut natural leather. All the lights and fixtures were done in-house.
