TONKA Trucks

Brief

PPM Mexico acquired the license rights to make Tonka toy trucks. They wanted them to be modular (lego-like) so the kids could mix and match parts wit cute and modern style. 

 

Design Process

​

We developed the concept "Industrial Chunky-Cute" and did digital sketches of the look and feel of the toy line. Then we drafted up quick 3D models to read the volumes and overall dimenions of each truck.

Finally 1:1 models were 3d printed and decorated.
